Rate of use guide:
6-12m² per litre neat.
12-24m² per litre at 1:1 diluted.
12-36m² per litre at diluted 1 part PVA:3 part water.
Bonding Agent, Adhesive and Admixture
Surebond PVA is an economical quick drying adhesive, sealer, bonding agent and cement admixture which has many applications.
Surebond PVA conforms to the requirements of BS 5270
Adhesive:
Surebond PVA will bond mo st common building materials -except PVC, rubber and polythene
Bonding Agent:
Surebond PVA will bond cement screeds, rendering and plaster to most sound surfaces such as concrete, stone and brick and new concrete to old without the need for hacking the surface to form a key.
Cement Admixture:
As an admixture in cements/sand and granolithic screeds; Surebond PVA enables thin, jointless floor toppings to be laid.
Sealing Coat:
Applied to porous concrete renders, plaster, plasterboards and granolithic floors as a sealer, Surebond PVA minimises dusting.
As an adhesive:
On smooth, flat surfaces, coat both faces with neat Surebond PVA Allow to become tacky then press together.
When bonding smooth wood to wood, apply a thin coat of neat Surebond PVA to one face only and press together firmly.
